A Growing Demand for TM Teachers

Teachers of the Transcendental Meditation technique are greatly needed to meet the growing demand for the TM program. In the United States, there are increasing needs for teachers of Transcendental Meditation to fill positions in professional environments, such as corporate, government, and military settings. Younger teachers are also needed for programs in schools.

In response to these needs, we are pleased to offer an international Transcendental Meditation Teacher Training Course (TTC) each year. A team of experienced TM teachers and administrators provide support and assistance to course participants throughout the application process and during the course itself; and continuing support and apprenticeship is provided following graduation from TTC as you begin your teaching career.

About the TM Teacher Training Course

The TM Teacher Training Course (TTC) is a five-month, in-residence program that will prepare you to become a teacher of the Transcendental Meditation technique. The journey starts with your diving deep into your own inner silence, during a stimulating course that emphasizes both deep experiences as well as intellectual understanding. The course includes:

  • Group practice of the Transcendental Meditation and TM-Sidhi® programs
  • Video presentations by TM’s founder, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi; visionary
    scientists; and other leading thinkers
  • Ample time for group discussion and Q&A
  • Learning and practicing the skills you’ll need to be a TM Teacher
  • Delicious lacto-vegetarian meals
  • Comfortable accommodations, with private room and bath

Support for Your Desire to Teach the TM Program

Upon graduating from the TTC program, you’ll have the skills needed to teach the TM technique at local TM Centers for the general public, as well as in schools, corporations, nonprofit organizations for at-risk populations, and other specialized settings. Every effort is made to provide financial support for TTC tuition for those in need, and to offer every TTC participant a ready-made place to teach the TM technique upon graduation from the course.
